Southwest Airlines Co LUV shares are trading lower by 2.01% to $31.66 after the airline grounded all flights nationwide due to technical issues.
What We Know: ABC News reporter Sam Sweeney earlier tweeted the news saying 'Breaking: All Southwest Airlines flights are grounded due to a computer issue. The airline tells me "operations are paused". 795 flights are delayed as of 10:30ET.'
Reuters earlier also reported that Southwest Airlines had requested that the FAA pause the airline's departures.
The ground stop pause for LUV flights did not last long, as Austin-Bergstrom International airport at 10:49ET tweeted 'Southwest has informed us their ground stop has been lifted and flights will resume soon.'
According to data from Benzinga Pro, LUV has a 52-week high of $50.10 and a 52-week low of $28.95.
