Wabash Invests $20M In Minnesota Facility To Boost EcoNex Production

Wabash National Corp WNC expands the manufacturing capacity of EcoNex Technology to address customer demand and equipment challenges that refrigerated carriers have faced for years.
Wabash will invest an additional $20 million in the expansion at its 53-acre site in Little Falls, Minnesota, and create more than 200 new jobs by the end of 2023.
EcoNex is Wabash's proprietary, next-generation molded structural composite that utilizes environmentally conscious materials to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and dependency on non-renewable energy.
Wabash claims that EcoNex significantly reduces corrosion and increases asset life since it has a higher thermal capability while being lighter in weight.
Price Action: WNC shares are trading higher by 2.49% at $18.33 on the last check Thursday.
