VEON Co-CEO Sergi Herrero Steps Down

Sergi Herrero, the Co-CEO of VEON Ltd (NASDAQ: VEON), will step down effective June 30, 2021. He will continue in an advisory role, primarily focused on VEON Ventures businesses as they continued to expand in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Russia, Ukraine, and elsewhere.
Kaan Terzioglu will continue as the CEO of VEON Ltd.
Price action: VEON shares traded lower by 1.11% at $1.78 in the premarket session on the last check Friday.
