8 MLP Distribution Changes You Might've Missed
MLP companies were very active over the past few weeks in making changes to their distributions to shareholders.
Here is a roundup of eight companies that recently made changes to their cash distributions.
Increase In Distribution
Viper Energy Partners LP (NASDAQ: VNOM) announced on February 8 an increase in its fourth quarter cash distribution to $0.228 per unit from $0.20 per unit.
PBF Logistics LP (NYSE: PBFX) announced on February 11 an increase in its quarterly cash distribution to $0.41 per unit from a previous $0.39 per unit.
Sanchez Production Partners LP (NYSE: SPP) announced on February 9 an increase in its quarterly cash distribution to $0.4060 per unit, representing a 1.5 percent increase over the prior distribution.
Decrease In Distribution
Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) announced on February it has lowered its quarterly cash dividend to $0.05 per share from a previous $0.27 per share.
No Changes In Distribution
Black Stone Minerals LP (NYSE: BSM) announced on February 9 that it will maintain its quarterly distribution of $0.2625 per unit but plans on increasing the distribution to $0.2875 per unit in the second quarter of 2016.
Alerian MLP (NYSE: AMLP) announced on February 10 that its quarterly distribution of $0.2990 per unit will stay unchanged.
Suspension Of Distributions
Energen Corporation (NYSE: EGN) announced on February 11 that it will discontinue distributing a cash dividend due to "the significant decline in the market prices of oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids."
