US Stock Futures Signal Higher Start On Wall Street

US stock futures are higher this morning. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 73 points to 10,893.00 and futures on the S&P 500 stock index rose 9.30 points to 1,132.80. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 22.00 points to 2,063.00. US stocks closed lower on Friday, with the Dow Jones industrial average dropping 1.57% to 10,817.65, the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index dipping 1.50% to 1,123.53 and the NASDAQ composite index declining 1.62% to 2,341.84.
