Ameresco Wins Generation 4 Contract From Department Of Energy

Ameresco Inc AMRC disclosed winning the Department of Energy's (DOE's) Generation 4 (Gen4) energy savings performance contract (ESPC). The Gen4 contract carries a $5 billion contract ceiling over 10 years.

The contract is a government-wide vehicle that allows Federal agencies to drive private capital and utility cost savings to cut energy consumption, decarbonize, and boost the efficiency of Federal facilities.

The DOE awarded the Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to a total of twenty prime contractors who can now compete for individual ESPC task orders.

"Ameresco stands ready to build on our longstanding partnerships with DOE and its Federal agency customers to accelerate their transition to clean energy and assure their missions," said Nicole Bulgarino, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Ameresco Federal Solutions.

Last week, the company disclosed acquiring an energy resilience project, adding 54MW to its energy assets portfolio.

Price Action: AMRC shares are trading lower by 1.21% at $46.00 premarket on the last check Friday.
