Mercedes Benz Group AG (OTC:MBGAF) plans to expand the use of artificial intelligence by integrating ChatGPT into the voice control of its vehicles as the next step.
The company said drivers could add ChatGPT and use the in-car voice control service via the MBUX Voice Assistant's "Hey Mercedes."
Mercedes-Benz will leverage Microsoft Corporation's (NASDAQ:MSFT) Azure OpenAI Service to integrate ChatGPT.

Mercedes said an optional beta program would start June 16 in the U.S. for vehicles equipped with the MBUX infotainment system.
The U.S.-focused beta program is expected to last three months.
Customers can participate via the "Mercedes me" app or directly from the vehicle using the voice command "Hey Mercedes, I want to join the beta programme."
Price Action: MBGAF shares are trading higher by 0.70% to $82.13 on the last check Thursday.
