The digital assets of the Meta Hero Project, together with the technological intellectual property (IP) of the project, have been acquired by Aftermath Islands, an interactive, blockchain-based virtual reality platform.

What Happened: The IP will be utilized to produce a broad variety of in-game objects and NFTs that users may purchase, sell, and use in Aftermath Islands and on all other compatible blockchain-based virtual experience platforms.

The Meta Hero Project creates realistic avatars and photorealistic items including fantasy creatures, animals, and vehicles in addition to motion and lip-synching solutions for use in the metaverse

Aftermath Islands will launch its development lab with the help of this purchase to assist internal and external partner initiatives.

The Monaco Crypto Summit, scheduled to take place on July 29, is one of the high-profile developer, community, and partner meetings and events where this project will be present.

'Integrating Everyday And Virtual Lives:' Benzinga spoke with Aftermath Islands MD David Lucatch, who said “we strongly feel that it was important to allow players to integrate everyday life and virtual life. We focus on seven principal tenets: Work, Learn, Earn, Entertain, Socialize, Build, and Gaming.”

“We have surrounded ourselves with some of the best storytellers and illustrators from the Marvel and DC universe, including the co-creator of Deadpool. These artists and writers have been telling stories for over 35 years and their work has been part of some of the most successful entertainment franchises in history.”

Lucatch said Meta Hero aims to encourage “economic inclusiveness” and allow anyone to be able to earn enough value to have their own piece of "metaverse paradise."

"Our play-to-earn platforms enable users to gain resources that can be turned into NFTs and then be used or traded in-game for DUBS, our utility token and they can then buy virtual land, which starts at $35 for a 1,000 square meter plot," he said.

The project also seeks to empower brands and other commercial operators to showcase and create virtual experiences, Lucatch said, adding that "with Unreal Engine 5 graphics and physics, we can accomplish this.”
