Trulieve Expands Florida Presence, Cuts Ribbon On Brooksville Store

Trulieve Cannabis Corp. TRUL TCNNF has opened yet another retail location.

The announcement comes just a month after the Florida-based company hit a milestone by opening its 50th, and largest dispensary.

The newly opened store — located at 14099 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville, Florida — is the company's 49th location in the state.

Trulieve CEO Kim Rivers explained in a Thursday press release that the company has taken "proactive steps to ensure patients feel safe and comfortable when visiting a Trulieve dispensary," as the health crisis persists.

"We've upped our in-store and delivery protocols, including increasing access to proper protective gear for all staff and masks and sanitizer for patients," Rivers said.

On the opening day, June 25, Trulieve offers a 25% in-store discount at the Brooksville location to all patients.

The company also said that the dispensary's product menu is available online for in-store and curbside pickup as well as direct home delivery.

"In line with policies we've adopted in all stores and those recently enacted by the State of Florida, we require everyone to wear masks inside a dispensary and only allow patients and their registered caregivers inside," Rivers added.

Recently, Trulieve has welcomed two new members, including Susan Thronson and Thomas Millner, a former Remington Arms' president and CEO, to its board of directors, which now counts eight members.
