With stock indexes falling once again today, it is hard to find any names in the green. What names that are in the green have two things in common, though. They are high-flying, momentum names and are trading near their 52-week highs. Take for instance, VMware Inc. (NYSE: VMW), which is higher on the session by 3.32%, currently trading at $80.65. The stock is trading near its 52-week high of $82.17, which was set in early August. Akamai Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM) is also shooting higher, currently to the tune of 5.64%, currently trading at $47.57. The stock is just off of its 52-week high of $47.76, which it hit earlier in the session. The stock recently broke out of a clear downtrend and has garnered bull momentum since. Linear Technology Corp. (NASDAQ: LLTC) is higher on the session by 0.64%, currently trading at $29.92. The stock has been gaining bullish support after it sold off (from its 52-week high of $33.06) after its earnings report, which was solid; traders seemed to want more though.
