It has 158 U.S. patents and 70 international patents and had 43 U.S. patent applications pending and 55 international patent applications pending. The Company's facilities and operations, in common with those of its industry in general, are subject to numerous domestic and international laws and regulations designed to protect the environment, particularly with regard to wastes and emissions.
