Tesla's Latest FSD Beta Update Is Rolling Out To The Public: Here Are the Upgrades, Improvements

Tesla Inc TSLA is working towards autonomous vehicles with its Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta software that is used in over 160,000 vehicles today.

The software can drive A to B without any human interaction, but a person is needed in the driver's seat for safety at all times.

Now the latest release, version 10.69.3, is rolling out to the public. The update brings many improvements including better pedestrian tracking, lane selection, and smoother overall operation. The full release notes can be seen here.

Currently, the software is opt-in and a person must get a certain safety score to be enrolled in the FSD Beta program. CEO Elon Musk has said wide release of the software is expected by the end of the year, and at that point, anyone that has purchased the $15,000 FSD package can use the software.
