In the lead-up to Tesla Inc's TSLA battery day, rumors ran wild on the possible announcements.
One of the rumors had Tesla producing its own aircraft.
During the presentation, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, The Boring Co. and SpaceX, did mention airplanes when talking about the way aircraft store fuel.
Just one day later, Musk is now joking on Twitter about producing his own electric jet.
Maybe I will …

While the comment seems innocent enough, Musk has been known to make bold tweets, only to later reveal they are actual plans.
The Boring Co., one of Musk's smaller ventures, started as a joke on Twitter.
The CEO also said the new Tesla Roadster electric car would have rockets. When asked if this was a joke, Musk introduced the SpaceX package.
It wouldn't be shocking if we learn in the future that Tesla really is working on fully electric aircraft.
