The Fund invests in financial instruments that ProShare Advisors believes, in combination, should produce daily returns consistent with the Daily Target. The Index is designed to measure the performance of U.S. dollar denominated high yield corporate debt. The Index includes corporate fixed-rate bonds that are issued by companies domiciled in developed countries and rated BB+ or lower by Fitch Ratings Inc. or Standard and Poors Financial Services, LLC and Ba1 or lower by Moodys Investors Service, Inc. Bonds included in the Index are weighted based market capitalization, subject to a limit of 3 percent on any one issuer.
