<p><strong>Brandywine Realty Trust</strong> (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/bdn-stock-quote/"><strong>BDN</strong></a>) is a real estate investment trust (<span>REIT</span>) focused on office buildings and mixed-use&nbsp;properties. Based on this year&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2023/03/27/investing/premarket-stocks-trading/index.html" target="_blank">headlines</a> about the health of the commercial real estate market (or lack thereof), this may seem like a &ldquo;no-go&rdquo; situation.</p>
<p>Among REITs, office REITs appear the most vulnerable. They&rsquo;ve been negatively affected by the work-from-home trend, rising interest rates and other macro challenges. Still, that doesn&rsquo;t mean you should take a pass on BDN stock.</p>
<p>As <em>Seeking Alpha</em> commentator Brad Thomas noted in May, there&rsquo;s a good chance BDN <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/article/4606865-is-20-percent-yielding-brandywine-realty-trust-a-sucker-yield" target="_blank">cuts its super-high dividend</a>, which currently gives it a forward yield of 17.2%. However, he points out that investors could be overestimating how much office demand trends will affect Brandywine&rsquo;s future performance &ldquo;when looking at its land bank, which it does own and could use to develop properties that are 36% residential, 27% office, and 21% life science.&rdquo;</p>
<p>The recent alleviation of macro worries has provided BDN a boost, with shares up 18% in the past month to $4.43, and could continue to do so.</p>

<p><strong>Butler National</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/buks-stock-quote/"><strong>BUKS</strong></a>) is a name I&rsquo;ve discussed numerous times in past coverage of both the <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/06/7-otc-stocks-to-buy-with-boatloads-of-potential/" target="_blank">best over-the-counter (OTC) stocks</a> and the <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/05/7-very-undervalued-penny-stocks-to-buy-in-may-2023/" target="_blank">best penny stocks</a>. The main appeal with this aerospace and casino gaming company, which also owns a <a href="http://www.butlernational.com/architecture-design-and-engineering/" target="_blank">small architecture and design firm</a>, is its low valuation compared to peers.</p>
<p>BUKS is a bonafide deep-value stock, sporting a price-earnings (P/E) multiple of <a href="https://www.gurufocus.com/stock/BUKS/summary" target="_blank">less than 9</a>. That&rsquo;s better than 92% of its peers in the aerospace and defense industry. Yet, Butler National may be on the verge of a major turning point, after which shares move to a price more in tune with the company&rsquo;s underlying value.</p>
<p>As I <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/06/7-otc-stocks-to-buy-with-boatloads-of-potential/">wrote recently</a>, &ldquo;In May,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.marketscreener.com/quote/stock/BUTLER-NATIONAL-CORPORATI-120786757/news/Butler-National-Corporation-Announces-Executive-Changes-43838132/" target="_blank">longtime CEO Clark Stewart resigned</a>, with Christopher Reedy (previously COO)&nbsp;<a href="http://www.butlernational.com/press/2023/butler-national-promotes-chris-reedy-from-coo-to-president-and-ceo/" target="_blank">taking the helm</a>. BUKS stock rallied on this news, perhaps due to investors speculating that Reedy will take more active steps to maximize shareholder value.&rdquo;</p>
<p>BUKS stock is up 14.5% since the announcement, to 79 cents a share, and could go much higher if a changing of the guard leads to divestitures and spin-offs.</p>

<h2>Comstock Holding Companies (CHCI)</h2>

<p>Alongside BDN stock, <strong>Comstock Holding Companies</strong>&nbsp;(NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/chci-stock-quote/"><strong>CHCI</strong></a>) is another name to consider if you are looking to bottom-fish in the hard-hit commercial real estate sector. In fact, CHCI may be a less risky way to make such a contrarian wager.</p>
<p>Comstock is a <span>commercial property management company, </span>not a REIT. It collects steady fees from its portfolio of managed properties, located primarily in the Northern Virginia suburbs outside of Washington, D.C. Therefore, Comstock may be less at risk of experiencing a deterioration in its operating performance if the current downturn lasts longer than expected.</p>
<p>As I have argued previously, CHCI could experience a <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/05/7-very-undervalued-penny-stocks-to-buy-in-may-2023/" target="_blank">major re-rating</a> once conditions in the commercial real estate market improve. The stock currently trades for just 4.6 times earnings. A doubling in price may be possible given shares would still sport a single-digit earnings multiple if this were to happen.</p>

<h2>Vaalco Energy (EGY)</h2>

<p>Given that crude oil prices have dipped back to the high-$60s per barrel, many may question my view that <strong>Vaalco Energy</strong> (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/egy-stock-quote/"><strong>EGY</strong></a>) is one of the best penny stocks right now.</p>
<p>However, if you believe that fossil fuel prices, pushed lower recently as <a href="https://www.reuters.com/markets/commodities/oil-prices-fall-demand-fears-headed-second-weekly-loss-2023-06-09/" target="_blank">demand concerns outweigh Saudi production cuts</a>, will spike again, EGY stock may be a great opportunity. Trading at 4.5 times forward earnings, while many larger oil and gas exploration companies currently have high-single-digit earnings multiples, a rebound in oil may have an outsized impact on Vaalco shares, which currently trade for $3.92.</p>
<p>Alongside strong appreciation potential, EGY also has a high dividend. After <a href="https://www.vaalco.com/investors/news-events/press-releases/detail/373/vaalco-energy-inc-declares-quarterly-dividend" target="_blank">raising its quarterly payout</a> to 6.25 cents per share last month, Vaalco now pays 25 cents per share annually in dividends. This gives shares a forward yield of around 5.8%, increasing EGY&rsquo;s total return potential.</p>

<h2>Entravision Communications (EVC)</h2>

<p>To some extent, it makes sense that <strong>Entravision Communications</strong> (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/evc-stock-quote/"><strong>EVC</strong></a>) has fallen out of favor, with shares down 27% over the past three months to trade at $4.50.</p>
<p>Current economic conditions have led to a slump in advertising demand for the company&rsquo;s legacy business, Spanish-language television and radio stations, as well as digital marketing, which has become its bread and butter in recent years.</p>
<p>Yet, two factors could help shares make a massive recovery from here. First, as ad demand bounces back, so too will Entravision&rsquo;s earnings. Analysts expect earnings per share (<span>EPS</span>) to jump 38% this year to 29 cents, followed by a 31% increase in 2024 to 38 cents.</p>
<p>Second, as the company continues to bulk up its digital ad business, most recently through <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/3973809-entravision-acquires-mobile-app-marketing-solutions-provider-bcnmonetize" target="_blank">its acquisition</a> of <strong>BCNMonetize</strong>, Entravision could finally shake off its &ldquo;broadcaster discount&rdquo; and make a permanent move to a higher valuation.</p>

<h2>Greystone Logistics (GLGI)</h2>

<p>After experiencing a sharp price decline in late 2022 into early 2023, <strong>Greystone Logistics</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/glgi-stock-quote/"><strong>GLGI</strong></a>) shares have made a strong comeback to once again trade above 80 cents. This rally for the recycled plastic shipping pallet manufacturer kicked off in mid-April, following a well-received <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/news/greystone-logistics-inc-reports-results-120000956.html" target="_blank">quarterly earnings release</a>.</p>
<p>Although Greystone reported a year-over-year revenue decline of 39.5%, investors were pleased to hear that it received $3.3 million in Employee Retention Credit (<span>ERC</span>) proceeds from the U.S. federal government. The company&rsquo;s benefit from this pandemic-era program was relatively large when compared to the market cap of GLGI stock at the time, which was around $21 million.</p>
<p>Investors also reacted positively to CEO Warren Kruger&rsquo;s upbeat commentary made on the <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/article/4594579-greystone-logistics-inc-glgi-q3-2023-earnings-call-transcript" target="_blank">post-earnings conference call</a>, which included the prospect of gross margin improvements.</p>
<p>GLGI stock is up about 15% since the earnings announcement to trade around 82 cents a share. If operating earnings bounce back from here, further upside likely remains.</p>

<h2>Pitney Bowes (PBI)</h2>

<p><strong>Pitney Bowes&rsquo;</strong> (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/pbi-stock-quote/"><strong>PBI</strong></a>) high turnaround potential is what makes it one of the best penny stocks to buy. From October through February, shares bolted higher, thanks to the mailing and shipping equipment and services company becoming an activist investor target.</p>
<p>In recent months, PBI stock has given back some of these gains. Yet, while the market may have gotten ahead of itself, don&rsquo;t assume another big jump for shares isn&rsquo;t in the cards. The activist catalyst has not gone away. Far from it, in fact.</p>
<p>In May, activist firm <strong>Hestia Capital Management</strong>&nbsp;<a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/3967986-pitney-bowes-gains-amid-report-holders-expected-to-elect-hestia-board-nominees" target="_blank">prevailed in its proxy fight</a>, gaining control of four of the company&rsquo;s nine board seats. With this, Hestia is well-positioned to push for the implementation of its <span>turnaround plan for the company.</span></p>
<p>As detailed in its April <a href="https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/6410818a1211df4ae5494155/643602f1aede5a4bf0397dfb_Hestia%20Capital%20Investor%20Presentation%20-Transform%20Pitney%20Bowes%20(April%202023).pdf" target="_blank">investor presentation</a>, Hestia believes that this plan could help send the stock back to double-digit price levels, up from $3.61 currently.</p>

<p>Amongst penny stocks (stocks trading for $5 per share or less), especially penny value stocks, economic issues like high inflation, rising interest rates, and slowing economic growth continue to have an impact on their performance.</p>
<p>Yet while the boom times have not exactly returned for smaller, less growth-focused stocks, that does not mean you need to stay away. Why? <p>So far this year, it has been a rollercoaster ride in terms of returns with <strong>Alto Ingredients</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/alto-stock-quote/"><strong>ALTO</strong></a>) stock. Shares in this producer of specialty alcohol products and ethanol fuel tanked earlier in the year, following the release of <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/3946560-natgas-and-commodity-price-volatility-adds-to-altos-woes-in-dismal-q4-stock-down-35" target="_blank">a disappointing quarterly earnings report</a>.</p>
<p>More recently, though, ALTO stock has bounced back in a big way, zooming by nearly 150% since May. So, after this big run up, kicked off by a better-received Q1 2023 earnings report, Alto is running out of runway, right? Not so fast.</p>
<p>Investor Jeremy Raper believes the company is worth upwards of $6.50 per share to a strategic buyer, due to the ethanol <a href="https://time.com/6205882/inflation-reduction-act-corn-ethanol-climate/">&ldquo;subsidy bonanza&rdquo;</a> stemming from the Inflation Reduction Act. As such, <a href="https://rapercapital.com/2023/06/29/an-open-letter-to-the-board-of-alto-ingredients-inc/" target="_blank">he is pressing management to sell the company</a>. While it&rsquo;s not a lock that management will heed this investor&rsquo;s advice, the emergence of shareholder activism makes ALTO worthy of a closer look.</p>

<p>After coughing back some of its pandemic-era gains during 2022, <strong>ARC Document Solutions</strong> (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/arc-stock-quote/"><strong>ARC</strong></a>) has moved moderately higher since the start of 2023. Yet while shares in this digital printing company (focused primarily on serving the construction and engineering industries) are well in the green this year, further gains may lie ahead.</p>
<p>Despite concerns that macroeconomic challenges will impact its business, the company continues to report solid results. Besides maintaining its 5.93% dividend, management also plans to put steady profits to work in another way that benefits ARC stock investors.</p>
<p>That would be ARC&rsquo;s plans to extend its longstanding <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/news/arc-receives-improved-terms-credit-120500706.html">share repurchase program</a>. Incrementally increasing the underlying per-share value of ARC with each share repurchase, the stock could experience outsized price appreciation in the coming years.</p>

<p>In past coverage of <strong>Butler National</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/buks-stock-quote/"><strong>BUKS</strong></a>), I have detailed its bona fides as one of the best penny stocks, especially among penny stocks trading in the over-the-counter, or OTC, market. A big reason for this has to do with this aerospace and casino gaming company&rsquo;s deep-value status, along with <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/06/7-otc-stocks-to-buy-with-boatloads-of-potential/" target="_blank">the presence of a catalyst</a> that could help realize its underlying value.</p>
<p>That is, a CEO change in May could be the first step in Butler pursuing strategic alternatives in order to remove the &ldquo;conglomerate discount&rdquo; currently applied to BUKS stock. Don&rsquo;t get me wrong. I&rsquo;m not saying that Butler will be sold or restructured in the immediate future.</p>
<p>However, while it may take time, the potential upside is likely substantial. BUKS trades for less than 10 times earnings, while most aerospace and <a href="https://investorplace.com/industries/consumer-discretionary/travel/casino/">casino stocks</a> trade at materially higher earnings multiples (20 times and 15 times earnings, respectively).</p>

Yet if you are bullish on energy prices spiking again, this may be one of the top penny stocks to buy for maximum exposure.</p>

<p><strong>Jerash Holdings</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/jrsh-stock-quote/"><strong>JRSH</strong></a>) has pulled back recently, and for a good reason. The current downturn is having an even larger-than-expected impact on the apparel manufacturer&rsquo;s operating performance. Last quarter, Jerash <a href="https://feeds.issuerdirect.com/news-release.html?newsid=4687695550283275" target="_blank">reported a net loss of $2 million (16 cents per share)</a>. The sell side was expecting earnings of 2 cents per share.</p>
<p>But even as a recovery may take time for Jerash, with analysts <a href="https://www.wsj.com/market-data/quotes/JRSH/research-ratings" target="_blank">walking back prior forecasts</a> for the next two fiscal years, JRSH stock may still be one of the best penny stocks to buy. At least, in terms of the stock&rsquo;s risk/return proposition.</p>
<p>As a <em>Seeking Alpha</em> commentator recently pointed out, JRSH&rsquo;s <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/article/4612307-jerash-growth-strong-cash-generation-and-net-cash-balance-sheet-at-0-7x-tbv" target="_blank">big discount to its book value provides a margin of safety</a>. This could lower downside risk. At the same time, various factors could enable this stock (at $3.70 per share today) to eventually make its way to $8 per share.</p>

<p>Admittedly, the bull case for <strong>Pitney Bowes</strong> (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/pbi-stock-quote/"><strong>PBI</strong></a>) is a bit binary. Either activist investor <strong>Hestia Capital</strong> (which <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/hedge-fund-hestia-wins-four-seats-on-pitney-bowes-board-7bc0edc1" target="_blank">won a proxy fight</a> for four seats on PBI&rsquo;s board earlier this year) successfully implements its <a href="https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/6410818a1211df4ae5494155/643602f1aede5a4bf0397dfb_Hestia%20Capital%20Investor%20Presentation%20-Transform%20Pitney%20Bowes%20(April%202023).pdf" target="_blank">proposed turnaround plan</a> for the mailing and shipping equipment and services company, or it doesn&rsquo;t.</p>
<p>Yet while a failed turnaround could sink PBI stock lower, a successful turnaround could get this penny stock back to double-digit price levels. Even partial success selling off non-core assets, cutting costs, and growing more promising aspects of the business may lead to high double-digit or perhaps even triple-digit gains.</p>
<p>It&rsquo;s a risky situation. A turnaround, whether partially or completely successfully, may need some time to take shape. However, the potential rewards far outweigh these concerns. With this, when it comes to the penny stocks to buy with the greatest potential, PBI belongs near the top of the list.</p>

<p>Bottom-fishers, take note: there are scores of penny stock opportunities out there. While major stocks have been on a year so far this year, <a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-types/penny-stocks/">penny stocks</a> (or stocks trading for $5 per share or less) have delivered a more mixed performance.</p>
<p>Near-term macro uncertainties continue to weigh no them more heavily than on, say, big tech, which has been boosted by the AI mega-trend.</p>
<p>However, despite not firing on all cylinders, there are two reasons why now is the time to consider penny stocks nearing attractive entry points.</p>
<p>For starters, although market commentators are bullish a recovery for major stocks may continue in 2023. It&rsquo;s hardly a lock that this will happen.</p>
<p>An unexpected additional round of market volatility may hit stronger-performing popular stocks much harder than under-the-radar names that have not gained so much in recent months.</p>
<p>Second, when comparing their respective long-term upside potential against their current stock prices, penny stock opportunities, such as these seven, may have a strong chance of delivering outsized returns to your portfolio over a multi-year time frame.

<h2>B2Gold (BTG)</h2>

<p>When it comes to the top penny stock picks for &ldquo;gold bugs&rdquo; <strong>B2Gold</strong> (NYSEAMERICAN:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/btg-stock-quote/"><strong>BTG</strong></a>) is one such opportunity. The Canada-based miner has interests in projects located throughout the world, including Mali, Namibia, and the Philippines.</p>
<p>There is a degree of jurisdictional risk with gold mining assets in such locations, but it&rsquo;s accounted for in the valuation of BTG stock, shares trade for only 11 times forward earnings.</p>
<p><a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/news/b2gold-corp-announces-acquisition-sabina-113000038.html" target="_blank">A recent acquisition</a>, and B2Gold&rsquo;s <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/3988114-b2gold-seeking-more-assets-after-sabina-gold-deal-ceo-says" target="_blank">plans to pursue more deals</a>, suggests such risks could be mitigated in the future.</p>
<p>If you believe that gold is in the early stages of a long-term bull market, B2Gold could take off in the years ahead. Thanks to the high degree of operating leverage in the gold mining business, even a moderate increase in spot gold price could have a dramatic opportunity on the company&rsquo;s profitability and stock price.</p>
<h2>Butler National (BUKS)</h2>

<p>If you&rsquo;ve read my prior coverage of <strong>Butler National</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/buks-stock-quote/"><strong>BUKS</strong></a>), you know full well why I consider it one of the stronger penny stock opportunities out there.</p>
<p>Shares in this diversified holding company, which owns a slew of aerospace business, as well as owns/operates a casino in Kansas, have actually held up well this year, rising by 25.4%.</p>
<p>However, even as BUKS stock has been trending up, it&rsquo;s still a bargain, changing hands at a &ldquo;can&rsquo;t-miss&rdquo; price. Based on its current valuation (around 9 times earnings), the stock continues to trade at a sharp discount to the likely underlying value of its assets.</p>
<p>Better yet, it may not take too much longer for Butler National to escape deep value territory. As I pointed out back in June, <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/06/7-otc-stocks-to-buy-with-boatloads-of-potential/" target="_blank">a recent management change</a> may mean a greater chance that the company will work to close this valuation gap.</p>
<h2>Globalstar (GSAT)</h2>

<p>Last year, shares in satellite communications operator <strong>Globalstar</strong> (NYSEAMERICAN:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/gsat-stock-quote/"><strong>GSAT</strong></a>) surged in price, thanks to <a href="https://www.fiercewireless.com/wireless/globalstars-long-game-pays-apple-iphone-deal" target="_blank">the formation of a potentially-lucrative partnership</a> with <strong>Apple</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/aapl-stock-quote/"><strong>AAPL</strong></a>), to provide satellite connectivity to the iPhone 14.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, GSAT stock has since coughed back these Apple-related gains. Trading for prices north of $2 per share following the deal news, you can buy this penny stock today for just over $1 per share. Yet while near-term speculators have abandoned the Globalstar in droves, this may work in the favor of those with a longer investing time horizon.</p>
<p>It will take years to take shape, but the Apple partnership stands to <a href="https://investorplace.com/2022/12/7-hottest-penny-stocks-to-own-for-2023-and-beyond/" target="_blank">significantly improve Globalstar&rsquo;s revenue and earnings numbers</a>, as I argued last December.</p>
<p>In addition, Globalstar earlier this year entered another promising strategic partnership, with mobile/internet of things chip maker <strong>Qualcomm</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/qcom-stock-quote/"><strong>QCOM</strong></a>). Following its pullback in price, GSAT appears worthy of a speculative buy.</p>

<h2>Gee Group (JOB)</h2>

<p>You may be wondering why I think <strong>Gee Group</strong> (NYSEAMERICAN:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/job-stock-quote/"><strong>JOB</strong></a>) is one of the stronger penny stock opportunities out there. Per recent commentary about this staffing services stock published on <em>Seeking Alpha</em>, JOB is <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/article/4617422-gee-group-beware-of-this-value-trap" target="_blank">a potential value trap</a>.</p>
<p>Namely, because of the risk that Gee&rsquo;s management once again makes acquisitions that cannot pay off for JOB stock investors. So, why am I bullish? Two things. First, those skeptical about JOB stock may be overestimating how likely management will back into old bad habits.</p>
<p>Second, these same skeptics may be underestimating the potential impact of Gee&rsquo;s repurchase program. This program enables the company to buy back as much as $20 million worth of shares.</p>
<p>That represents around 37% of the company&rsquo;s shares outstanding. Over time, this could produce big upside, for those snapping up JOB today, after its big drop in price since late last year.</p>
<h2>Jerash Holdings (JRSH)</h2>

<p><strong>Jerash Holdings</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/jrsh-stock-quote/"><strong>JRSH</strong></a>), has appeared to be one stock nearing attractive entry points many times in the past year, only for shares in the apparel manufacturer to continue underperforming relative to the overall stock market.</p>
<p>But following the return of JRSH stock to penny stock territory in recent months, you may want to buy despite its continued weakness.</p>
<p>Right off the bat, thanks to a high dividend (forward yield of 5.14%), shares offer investors the opportunity for a steady return, as the company rides out the current industry downturn.</p>
<p>As the apparel industry bounces back, so too will profitability. Yes, sell-side analysts are currently conservative in their earnings forecasts several years out.</p>
<p>Still, keep in mind this company has previously reported earnings well above <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/JRSH/income-statement" target="_blank">50 cents per share</a> in prior years. Re-hitting this level of earnings could propel the stock back to high single-digit prices.</p>
<h2>Paysign (PAYS)</h2>

<p><strong>Paysign</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/pays-stock-quote/"><strong>PAYS</strong></a>) may be one of the best penny stock opportunities, for investors looking for growth at a more-than-reasonable price.</p>
<p>As my <em>InvestorPlace</em> colleague Muslim Farooque pointed out back in June, the company has reported strong growth, thanks to its leading position in <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/06/3-penny-stocks-to-buy-before-they-soar-to-new-heights-in-2023/" target="_blank">a unique niche within the payments space</a>.</p>
<p>That would be the handling of payments made by plasma donation centers. Paysign holds a 40% share of this market. In the past, investors priced PAYS stock at too high of a valuation.</p>
<p>However, between the stock&rsquo;s extended decline in price, all while the company&rsquo;s business has grown, PAYS has gone from being way overvalued, to becoming arguably undervalued.</p>
<p>While sporting a forward earnings multiple of 36,PAYS trades for only <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/PAYS/earnings" target="_blank">21.3</a> times estimated 2024 earnings. If Paysign can sustain high-growth, a big rebound may be in store for this currently out-of-favor healthcare payments stock.</p>
<h2>Procaps Group (PROC)</h2>

<p><strong>Procaps Group</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/proc-stock-quote/"><strong>PROC</strong></a>) is an under-the-radar penny stock in the healthcare space.</p>
<p>Domiciled in Luxembourg, Procaps <a href="https://www.procapsgroup.com/our-businesses" target="_blank">owns several</a> pharmaceutical and contract drug development and manufacturing services businesses. These businesses are located primarily in Latin America.</p>
<p>PROC stock has fallen considerably since <a href="https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20210929005947/en/Procaps-Group-Completes-Business-Combination-with-Union-Acquisition-Corp.-II" target="_blank">going public in 2021</a>. One of many companies that went public via the special purchase acquisition company (or SPAC) route, it went public at around $10 per share.</p>
<p>Since then, the stock has tumbled to just under $4 per share. However, after their big drop, shares trade at a low valuation of just 11.6 times earnings.</p>
<p>Although a planned acquisition <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/3921723-procaps-terminates-merger-with-grupo-somar" target="_blank">fell through earlier this year</a>, based on its holding company structure, Procaps is likely pursuing other merger opportunities. These could result in revenue/cost synergies.</p>
<p>Coupled with growth across its existing businesses, this could result in a gradual rebound for this hard-hit healthcare stock.</p>

<p>As has been the case in recent months, there are plenty of names in &ldquo;penny stock territory&rdquo; ($5 per share or less) trading at low valuations, with catalysts in play that over the long-term stand to help bridge the gap between trading price and underlying value.</p>

<p><strong>Advantage Solutions</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/adv-stock-quote/"><strong>ADV</strong></a>) is a provider of in-store marketing services. The management of free sample stands in grocery stores is its main line of business.</p>
<p>Going public via a special purpose acquisition company merger in <a href="https://advantagesolutions.net/news/advantage-solutions-and-conyers-park-ii-acquisition-corp-announce-closing-of-business-combination/https://advantagesolutions.net/news/advantage-solutions-and-conyers-park-ii-acquisition-corp-announce-closing-of-business-combination/" target="_blank">October 2020</a>, Advantage&rsquo;s shares have since been hammered to rock-bottom prices.</p>
<p>Since its debut, ADV stock has fallen from its original SPAC price of $10 per share, to at one point as low as $1.13 per share. ADV has since experienced a more than 100% bounce back in price, but it&rsquo;s not too late to buy what is one of the leading penny stocks.</p>
<p>The stock today trades for only 5.6 times earnings. As a <em>Seeking Alpha</em> commentator argued last month, as headwinds like the spike in labor cost normalize, Advantage has the potential to materially improve its profitability. This could spark another big move higher for shares.</p>
<h2>Butler National (BUKS)</h2>

<p>The upside potential from a recent management change makes aerospace and casino gaming company <strong>Butler National</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/buks-stock-quote/"><strong>BUKS</strong></a>) one of the top penny stocks to buy now.</p>
<p>Why is this good news for BUKS stock? First, the exit of Butler&rsquo;s longtime CEO (along with his son, a former VP) may <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/06/7-otc-stocks-to-buy-with-boatloads-of-potential/" target="_blank">increase the chances the company sells/spins off one of its businesse</a>s.</p>
<p>This could help realize some of this deep value stock&rsquo;s underlying value. Second, the new CEO (formerly the company&rsquo;s COO) is <a href="https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/15847/000143774923014068/buks20230511_8k.htm" target="_blank">not receiving a raise</a>, and the CEO&rsquo;s son is not being replaced.</p>
<p>This points to at least <a href="https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/15847/000143774922020510/buks20220712_def14a.htm" target="_blank">$1.3 million</a> in cost savings. Not too shabby, relative to last year&rsquo;s earnings ($4.5 million). Third, Butler has also bought back the ousted exec&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/15847/000143774923020646/ex_547717.htm" target="_blank">7.9%</a> stake in BUKS. This large repurchase could help boost the value of the remaining outstanding BUKS shares.</p>
<h2>Comstock Holding (CHCI)</h2>

<p>A few months back, I laid out the argument as to why&nbsp;<strong>Comstock Holding</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/chci-stock-quote/"><strong>CHCI</strong></a>) is one of the top penny stocks to buy.</p>
<p>In a nutshell, Comstock is <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/05/7-very-undervalued-penny-stocks-to-buy-in-may-2023/" target="_blank">undervalued and misunderstood</a>. This company is a commercial property management firm, and the market is very pessimistic right now about the commercial real estate sector.</p>
<p>However, this is (in my view) keeping CHCI stock unfairly depressed at penny stock prices. Comstock is not merely surviving during this real estate downturn&mdash;It is clearly thriving.</p>
<p>Occupancy rates among the residential and commercial properties the company manages keeps rising.</p>
<p><a href="https://ir.comstock.com/news/news-details/2023/Comstock-Reports-First-Quarter-2023-Results/" target="_blank">Operating income is holding steady as well</a>. As Comstock continues to expand its management portfolio in what is not exactly the best of times for CRE, you can imagine what a real estate recovery could mean for its business.</p>
<p>All of this makes CHCI worthy of a buy, as it remains out-of-favor.</p>
<h2>Flexible Solutions (FSI)</h2>

<p><strong>Flexible Solutions</strong> (NYSEAMERICAN:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/fsi-stock-quote/"><strong>FSI</strong></a>) is a name that recently came on my radar as one of the best penny stocks to buy now.</p>
<p>Recently, <em>InvestorPlace&rsquo;s</em> Josh Enomoto, along with Louis Navellier and the <em>InvestorPlace</em> Research team, have both argued the bull case for this under-the-radar &ldquo;green wave&rdquo; stock.</p>
<p>As Enomoto pointed out, FSI stock is <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/07/7-millionaire-maker-penny-stocks-to-buy-before-the-window-closes/" target="_blank">a growth stock trading at a low valuation</a>. Despite reporting double-digit revenue growth over the past few years, shares in this water evaporation control products company trade for just 7.4 times earnings.</p>
<p>Per Navellier, revenue and earnings have declined recently, explaining the low multiple, yet a <a href="https://investorplace.com/market360/2023/08/fsi-stock-green-growth-at-a-more-than-fair-price/" target="_blank">growth renewal remains very possible</a>.</p>
<p>Besides a likely rebound in its core business, the growing push for enhanced water conservation efforts could lead to policies that will create big demand for products that today <a href="https://investorplace.com/market360/2023/08/fsi-stock-green-growth-at-a-more-than-fair-price/" target="_blank">make up just a small portion of FSI&rsquo;s overall revenue</a>.</p>
<h2>Paysign (PAYS)</h2>

<p><strong>Paysign</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/pays-stock-quote/"><strong>PAYS</strong></a>) is one of the&nbsp;must-buy penny stocks, if you&rsquo;re looking for a growth story that isn&rsquo;t too expensive.</p>
<p>Sure, on the surface, shares in this provider of payment services for plasma donation centers are not exactly cheap when compared to current results.</p>
<p>Last quarter, while revenues are up year-over-year, so too were expenses. This led to a widening of operating losses compared to the prior year&rsquo;s quarter. However, much of this has to do with Paysign&rsquo;s <a href="https://app.quotemedia.com/data/downloadFiling?webmasterId=102691&amp;ref=317672783&amp;type=HTML&amp;symbol=PAYS&amp;cdn=7464dffad684a3a7dced7e60b94fe062&amp;companyName=Paysign+Inc.&amp;formType=10-Q&amp;formDescription=General+form+for+quarterly+reports+under+Section+13+or+15%28d%29&amp;dateFiled=2023-08-09#q2_08" target="_blank">build-out of its nascent pharma patient affordability solutions business</a>.</p>
<p>This diversification, coupled with continued growth of its plasma segment, may result in stronger results in the years ahead. Analyst forecasts call for earnings to more-than-double, to <a href="https://www.wsj.com/market-data/quotes/PAYS" target="_blank">7 cents per share</a> next year.</p>
<p>Meeting or beating these expectations could wind up being enough to get PAYS stock (at around $1.95 per share) on a path out of penny stock territory.</p>
<h2>Pitney Bowes (PBI)</h2>

<p>The potential for high upside from a corporate turnaround is what made me initially bullish on <strong>Pitney Bowes</strong> (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/pbi-stock-quote/"><strong>PBI</strong></a>), and it&rsquo;s why I still consider it one of the best penny stocks to buy now.</p>
<p>Last May, an activist investor (<strong>Hestia Capital</strong>) <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/hedge-fund-hestia-wins-four-seats-on-pitney-bowes-board-7bc0edc1" target="_blank">gained four seats on PBI&rsquo;s board</a>, and has since been pushing for a complete overhaul of the mailing and shipping equipment and services company.</p>
<p>Said overall could soon start making an impact, as the company recently announced it was on track to slash <a href="https://www.investorrelations.pitneybowes.com/news-releases/news-release-details/pitney-bowes-announces-second-quarter-2023-financial-results" target="_blank">$75 million</a> in annual operating expenses by the end of next year.</p>
<p>This points to increased earnings within a few quarters, setting up PBI stock to experience a big rebound in price.</p>
<p>PBI also continues to pay out a 5 cent per share quarterly dividend (5.75% forward yield). This enables you to get paid while you wait for the turnaround to take shape.</p>
<h2>Smith Micro Software (SMSI)</h2>

<p><strong>Smith Micro Software</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/smsi-stock-quote/"><strong>SMSI</strong></a>) provides a suite of mobile device software products. In recent years, declining revenue and net losses have pressured the stock.</p>
<p>Trading for prices north of $7.75 per share in early 2021, SMSI stock a few months back briefly traded for under $1 per share.</p>
<p>Yet lately, SMSI has bounced back, especially following the company&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.smithmicro.com/press-releases/2023/08/09/q2-and-year-to-date-2023-financial-results/" target="_blank">latest earnings release</a>. While the results themselves were mixed, investors reacted favorably to <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/article/4626269-smith-micro-software-inc-smsi-q2-2023-earnings-call-transcript" target="_blank">guidance updates provided on the earnings conference call</a>.</p>
<p>Revenue is expected to increase next quarter, by between 4% and 8%. Combined with continued cost savings efforts, this may result in materially-stronger results for Smith Micro Software.</p>
<p>Earnings forecasts call for a return to profitability next. One analyst believes the company could earn 30 cents per share in 2025. With this in mind, consider SMSI one of the high-potential penny stocks.</p>

Butler National GAAP EPS of $0.01, revenue of $17.2M

<p>With their low prices and tendency to be more volatile than the overall market, many investors see&nbsp;<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-types/penny-stocks/">penny stocks</a> as a possible opportunity for extremely high returns.</p>
<p>Yet while the opportunity is there to generate fast gains in a short time frame, this may not be the best approach. A better way to approach these types of types is with a strategy more long-term in nature.</p>
<p>Penny stock movements can be unpredictable. This makes success in day or swing trading in such names a lot easier-said-than-done for most investors.</p>
<p>However, by investing instead of trading, and having the patience/stomach to ride out near-term volatility, there are plenty of promising plays in &ldquo;penny stock territory&rdquo; that could produce strong gains over the course of a decade.</p>
<p>These gains could arrive from organic growth, the impact of a turnaround, or merely from the market discovering an under-the-radar stock, and re-pricing it at a valuation more in line with the company&rsquo;s underlying valuation.</p>
<p>So what are some examples of such plays? Consider these seven. A mix of deep value plays and promising growth stories, each one has the potential to triple in price between now and 2033.
</p>
<h2>Butler National (BUKS)</h2>

<p>Aviation and casino gaming company <strong>Butler National</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/buks-stock-quote/"><strong>BUKS</strong></a>) has more than quadrupled in price over the past decade. In more recent years, shares have delivered a mixed performance.</p>
<p>Is another hot run possible? Another four-fold jump may be a stretch, but a tripling in price could be within reach.</p>
<p>How so? There are many factors in play that could drive such gains for BUKS stock within ten years. As I discussed back in August, a recent shake-up in the C-suite points to <a href="https://investorplace.com/best-penny-stocks/https://investorplace.com/best-penny-stocks/" target="_blank">significant cost savings</a> compared to the company&rsquo;s recent earnings.</p>
<p>The company could also continue to aggressively repurchase shares, which may place upward pressure on the stock.</p>
<p>Finally, within a decade, this diversified company could finally close the gap between its stock price and the underlying value of its businesses. This could be achieved by selling/spinning off one of its two main operating businesses.</p>
<h2>Broadwind (BWEN)</h2>

<p>For investors looking for &ldquo;green wave&rdquo; exposure, <strong>Broadwind</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/bwen-stock-quote/"><strong>BWEN</strong></a>) may be one of the best penny stocks out there.</p>
<p>While this renewable energy equipment stock plunged after the clean energy stock bubble burst in 2021, so far in 2023 shares have performed very well, with BWEN soaring by 95.5%.</p>
<p>Yet while those who bought in at or near multi-year have already seen big gains on their BWEN stock investment, it&rsquo;s not too late to buy, for the potential for threefold gains. Not only does such a return seem within reach between now and 2033.</p>
<p>A tripling-in-price could arrive far sooner. Why? Forecasts call for Broadwind&rsquo;s annual earnings to hit <a href="https://www.wsj.com/market-data/quotes/BWEN" target="_blank">73 cents per share in 2024</a>.</p>
<p>With additional growth in the years that follow, BWEN will only need to maintain its current earnings multiple (around 12.5) to hit triple from current levels ($3.50 per share).</p>
<h2>Exro Technologies (EXROF)</h2>

<p>Speaking of renewable energy-exposed stocks with big potential, <strong>Exro Technologies</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/exrof-stock-quote/"><strong>EXROF</strong></a>) is another such example.</p>
<p>Based in Canada, Exro is an early-stage company focused on developing components for electric vehicles, as well as battery control systems for energy storage systems.</p>
<p>Also like BWEN, EXROF stock was buried post-bubble in 2021 and 2022, yet has embarked on a comeback more recently, rising by around 119.3% in the past year.</p>
<p>The company is <a href="https://www.exro.com/news/exro-technologies-announces-second-quarter-2023-financial-results" target="_blank">now is in the commercialization stage</a>, and has signed new agreements with manufacturers interested in utilizing its technology.</p>
<p>In turn, Exro may be poised to report a materially higher level of revenue over the next few years, perhaps to the extent that it finally reaches the point of profitability.</p>
<p>Such progress is likely sufficient for EXROF to re-hit past highs (over $5 per share), which are more than three times the stock&rsquo;s current trading price.</p>
<p></p>
<h2>Full House Resorts (FLL)</h2>

<p>Shares in <strong>Full House Resorts</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/fll-stock-quote/"><strong>FLL</strong></a>) have fallen by more than 50% since earlier this year, but that isn&rsquo;t a sign to stay away. If you&rsquo;re looking for penny stocks with the potential to triple within a decade, this casino operator is worth considering.</p>
<p>Although Full House has reported negative earnings in recent quarters, <a href="https://investors.fullhouseresorts.com/news-events/press-releases/detail/291/full-house-resorts-announces-second-quarter-results" target="_blank">pre opening and development costs</a> associated with two new or upcoming casino projects have been a key reason for these losses. As the company&rsquo;s two latest properties (American Place in Illinois, Chamonix in Colorado) become operational, profitability could bounce back in a big way.</p>
<p>Per sell-side forecasts, earnings could come in at 65 cents per share in 2025. Add in the potential for this casino operator to develop/acquire additional properties, and/or monetize its casino real estate, and there&rsquo;s much in play for FLL stock to triple in price by 2033.</p>
<h2>Oppfi (OPFI)</h2>

<p>Macro uncertainties like rising interest rates and the threat of recession have hit <a href="https://investorplace.com/industries/financial/fintech/">fintech stocks</a> like <strong>Oppfi</strong> (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/opfi-stock-quote/"><strong>OPFI</strong></a>) especially hard since 2021.</p>
<p>However, investors have this year started to dive back into such names, as it becomes apparent the market went overboard pushing them to heavily discounted prices.</p>
<p>In recent months, OPFI stock has experienced a noticeable jump in price. Mostly, due to this installment loan company&rsquo;s reporting of strong results for the preceding quarter. Last quarter, earnings rose by <a href="https://s27.q4cdn.com/889956127/files/doc_financials/2023/q2/OppFi-Reports-Second-Quarter-2023-Results-Raises-Full-Year-Earnings-Outlook-2023.pdf" target="_blank">90%</a> year-over-year. Oppfi also raised its full-year outlook.</p>
<p>With this, past pessimism is looking like an overreaction. Despite moving higher, OPFI still trades at a low valuation. You can buy this stock today at a forward earnings multiple of just 6.2. Oppfi&rsquo;s valuation could expand, as economic conditions normalize.</p>
<p>This, combined with continued growth, could propel shares from $2.40 to $7.20 per share.</p>
<h2>Pagaya Technologies (PGY)</h2>

<p><strong>Pagaya Technologies</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/pgy-stock-quote/"><strong>PGY</strong></a>) is another hard-hit fintech beginning to bounce back on improved sentiment. Shares in Pagaya, which develops AI-power models for loan underwriting, surged and sank during 2022, falling to as low as 57 cents per share.</p>
<p>PGY stock remains in the&nbsp;penny stocks category, but it has bounced back by around 30.5% this year. Just like Oppfi, <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/4001357-pagaya-stock-surges-after-guidance-boost-beats-on-q2-revenue-adjusted-ebitda" target="_blank">improved results</a> have driven this. However, as Pagaya continues to <a href="https://investor.pagaya.com/news-releases/news-release-details/pagaya-closes-600-million-consumer-loan-asset-backed" target="_blank">securitize loans</a> and <a href="https://investor.pagaya.com/news-releases/news-release-details/pagaya-announces-partnership-westlake-financial-showcasing" target="_blank">form strategic partnerships</a>, the company appears primed to keep scaling up.</p>
<p>This growth could keep the stock moving steadily higher, especially if/when consistent profitability is reached.</p>
<p>Given the potential for this relatively small fintech to become a major name in an increasingly digitized financial services space, not only is a threefold jump within ten years possible.</p>
<p>PGY may have the potential to re-hit its past high-water mark (around $25 per share) within this time frame.</p>
<h2>Pitney Bowes (PBI)</h2>

<p>I may sound like a broken record, arguing the bull case for <strong>Pitney Bowes</strong> (NYSE:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/pbi-stock-quote/"><strong>PBI</strong></a>), but among penny stocks to buy, shares in this business products company have one of the most clear-cut paths to substantial upside.</p>
<p>Back in May, an activist investment firm (Hestia Capital) gained four seats on the company&rsquo;s board. During the proxy fight, Hestia laid out its transformation game plan for Pitney Bowes.</p>
<p>As I recently argued, <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/10/q4-stock-predictions-7-penny-stocks-ready-to-roar-into-2024/" target="_blank">the recent exit of longtime CEO Marc Lautenbach</a> points to Hestia being able to fully implement this ambitious plan.</p>
<p>Said plan includes material cost-cutting, organic growth investments into one of PBI&rsquo;s faster-growing subsidiaries, and the divestiture of one of its other main operating segments.</p>
<p>If successful, this plan could result in PBI stock climbing from $3.68 per share today, to <a href="https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/6410818a1211df4ae5494155/643602f1aede5a4bf0397dfb_Hestia%20Capital%20Investor%20Presentation%20-Transform%20Pitney%20Bowes%20(April%202023).pdf" target="_blank">between $11.34 and $16.33 per share</a>. That&rsquo;s well over three times PBI&rsquo;s current stock price.</p>

<h2>Butler National (BUKS)</h2>

<p><strong>Butler National</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/buks-stock-quote/"><strong>BUKS</strong></a>) is an obscure stock I&rsquo;ve discussed before in past coverage of penny stocks. While primarily an aerospace products and services company, Butler also owns a casino (Boot Hill) in Dodge City, Kansas.</p>



<p>As I argued last October, the primary appeal with BUKS stock is its <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/10/these-7-penny-stocks-could-triple-your-investment-in-a-decade/">low valuation, coupled with recent developments that could help shake off its &ldquo;value trap&rdquo; status</a>. Shares are sold for just 7.7 times forward earnings. Stocks in both aerospace and gaming, which are comparable, trade at multiples of at least double this figure.</p>



<p>Even if the company does not get bought out, something else could serve as a catalyst. Last year&rsquo;s management changes are set to both reduce overhead expenses, and perhaps result in the company making other moves (such as a stock market up-listing, or a spin-off of the casino business) that may help Butler escape obscurity, and to unlock shareholder value.</p>



<h2>California Nanotechnologies (CANOF)</h2>

<p><strong>California Nanotechnologies</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/canof-stock-quote/"><strong>CANOF</strong></a>), also known as Calnano, is a provider of nanocrystalline materials for R&amp;D and industrial use. The company&rsquo;s shares have taken off in the past year (rising by more than 160%), but price discovery may not be over just yet.</p>



<p>Despite the significant increase in CANOF stock, it still trades at a reasonable valuation (11.7 times earnings). More importantly, as seen in Calnano&rsquo;s recent investor presentation, expected growth for one of the company&rsquo;s key markets (<a href="https://www.calnanocorp.com/Cal-Nano-Q3-2024-Investor-Presentation.pdf">the spark plasma sintering market</a>), suggests that a high level of growth may continue.</p>



<p>With this, CANOF may be well-positioned to both rise in line with earnings growth, as well as experience an expansion of its earnings multiple. In time, Calnano (which also trades in Canada on the <strong>TSX Venture</strong> exchange) could decide to move its U.S. stock market listing from the OTC market, to a major exchange.</p>



<h2>Comstock Holding (CHCI)</h2>

<p>Investors looking to make a contrarian wager on commercial real estate have many choices, but one they may want to consider is <strong>Comstock Holding</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/chci-stock-quote/"><strong>CHCI</strong></a>). </p>



<p>Originally in the homebuilding business, in more recent years Comstock has become a commercial property management firm, managing primarily mixed-use developments in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.</p>



<p>CHCI stock has held steady, despite the continued worries about whether the commercial real estate market downturn will worsen or stabilize from here. This share price steadiness more than makes sense. Comstock&rsquo;s <a href="https://ir.comstock.com/news/news-details/2023/Comstock-Reports-Third-Quarter-2023-Results/default.aspx">revenue and earnings</a> keep growing, as seen from the company&rsquo;s Q3 2023 results.</p>



<p>Still, the market still seems to ignore this, assigning CHCI a valuation (6.7 times earnings) well below that of other publicly-traded property management companies (which trades for 10-15 times earnings). Greater awareness of Comstock, plus normalization of conditions in the commercial property space, could help to bridge this valuation gap.</p>



<h2>Greystone Logistics (GLGI)</h2>

<p><strong>Greystone Logistics</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/glgi-stock-quote/"><strong>GLGI</strong></a>) may be up by 150% over the past year, but it&rsquo;s arguably still one of the undiscovered penny stocks. At least, based on this plastic pallet manufacturer&rsquo;s current valuation. </p>



<p>Yes, it is misleading to use the company&rsquo;s trailing twelve month earnings to value the stock.</p>



<p>Greystone&rsquo;s earnings last year were skewed by a one-time event (<a href="https://compliance-sec.com/secfilings/company/glgi/link_files/2023/08-28-2023/Form10-K(08-28-2023)GreystoneLogistics/Form10-K.pdf">the receipt of a massive pandemic-related refundable tax credit</a>). However, based on more recent results, such as <a href="https://compliance-sec.com/secfilings/company/glgi/link_files/2024/01-16-2024/Form10-Q(01-16-2024)GreystoneLogistics/Form10-Q.pdf">earnings of 3 cents per share</a> last quarter, it&rsquo;s clear cooling inflation and rebounding demand are helping to improve margins.</p>



<p>If this keeps playing out, GLGI stock could rise, as it becomes clear that the company is once again consistently-profitable thanks to its operating business, not because of tax credits. This could result in a re-rating, enabling this already strong-performing penny stock to add to its gains.</p>



<h2>Mama&rsquo;s Creations (MAMA)</h2>

<p>Admittedly, it may be a stretch to call <strong>Mama&rsquo;s Creations</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/mama-stock-quote/"><strong>MAMA</strong></a>) shares undiscovered. </p>



<p>In recent years, this purveyor of &ldquo;heat and serve&rdquo; foods has already experienced a high level of growth, as well as an outsized amount of price appreciation for its formerly OTC-listed, now NASDAQ-listed shares.</p>



<p>As recently as late 2022, MAMA stock traded for just over $1 per share. Today, it trades for $4.50 per share. Yet while the stock is up by a tremendous amount already, the potential is still there for shares to keep growing at a slower but still above-average pace.</p>



<p>Per sell-side forecasts, earnings could grow by as much as <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MAMA/earnings">43.75%</a> this fiscal year (ending January 2025). While priced already like a growth stock at 26.7 times forward earnings, continued growth could help sustain this valuation, with shares moving higher in tandem with increased earnings.</p>



<h2>Power Solutions International (PSIX)</h2>

<p>If searching for deep value plays among undiscovered penny stocks, consider <strong>Power Solutions International</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/psix-stock-quote/"><strong>PSIX</strong></a>). Shares in this manufacturer of engines and power systems trade for only 2 times forward earnings.</p>



<p>Yes, there&rsquo;s somewhat of a rationale for the super-low valuation of PSIX stock. As InvestorPlace&rsquo;s Omor Ibne Ehsan discussed last November, Power Solutions International has <a href="https://investorplace.com/2023/11/buy-alert-analysts-say-these-3-growth-stocks-could-double-in-2024/">in the past been unprofitable</a>, reporting high levels of cash burn. This may mean investors are still skeptical about future operating performance.</p>



<p>Power Solutions could continue to handily beat expectations with subsequent quarterly results. Sell side forecasts call for earnings of <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/PSIX/earnings">$1.22</a> per share during 2024. This may only represent 14% earnings growth compared to 2023. </p>



<p>However, as this would also signal that the company has achieved consistent profitability, this may assuage investor concerns, resulting in (as Ehsan also argued previously), a major re-rating to the upside for shares.</p>



<h2>Vaso (VASO)</h2>

<p>At the same time I &ldquo;discovered&rdquo; ELTP, I also discovered medical technology company <strong>Vaso</strong> (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/vaso-stock-quote/"><strong>VASO</strong></a>). Since then, many other investors have discovered it as well. </p>



<p>This, plus enormous improvements in Vaso&rsquo;s profitability, have resulted in a high amount of price appreciation for shares.</p>



<p>Trading for just over a dime in 2022, VASO stock today trades for around 28 cents per share. However, even after this big run-up, don&rsquo;t assume you have missed the boat. In fact, Vaso could pretty soon become even more greatly followed by the market.</p>



<p>How? Back in December, the company announced <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/vaso-corporation-a-diversified-medical-technology-company-currently-trading-on-the-otcqx-market-to-list-on-nasdaq-via-spac-merger-302009376.html">plans to merge</a> with special purpose acquisition company (or SPAC) <strong>Achari Ventures Holdings Corp I</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/avhi-stock-quote/"><strong>AVHI</strong></a>). </p>



<p>Merging with Achari, in effect a market uplisting and reverse split, could bring about a fresh wave of price discovery. Trading for just 4 times earnings, shares could receive a big re-rating after the SPAC merger closes.</p>
