Atmos Energy Increases Quarterly Dividend by 7.1 Percent

Atmos Energy Corporation ATO said today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend increase on the company's common stock to 45 cents per share. The indicated annual dividend for Fiscal 2017 is $1.80, which represents a 7.1 percent increase over the Fiscal 2016 annual dividend of $1.68. This is the 29^th consecutive year that the company has increased its dividend.

The dividend will be paid on December 12, 2016, to shareholders of record on November 28, 2016. This is the company's 132^nd consecutive quarterly dividend.
