Isuzu H1 Net Profit Surges 24.8%

Isuzu Motors Ltd

reported a 24.8% rise in its net profit for the fiscal first half and raised its view for the full year. Isuzu's net profit for the period surged to Y42.08 billion, from Y33.73 billion, in the year-ago period. Its sales climbed 18.5% to Y780.10 billion from Y658.14 billion. For this fiscal year, Isuzu lifted its net profit forecast to Y91 billion from Y81 billion. Isuzu shares closed at $53.53 yesterday.
