Holcim Posts Downbeat Q3 Profit

Holcim Ltd

reported weaker-than-expected Q3 profit. Holcim's quarterly net profit surged to CHF394 million, from CHF356 million, in the year-ago period. Its revenue rose to CHF5.84 billion, from CHF5.32 billion. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of CHF434 million on revenue of CHF 5.32 billion.
