Impala Platinum Posts Rise In H1 Net Profit

Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd

posted an increase in its earnings for the first half of its fiscal year. Impala Platinum's net profit for the period rose to 3.48 billion rand ($446 million), from ZAR2.07 billion, in the year-ago period. Its revenue came in at ZAR15.40 billion, versus ZAR15.32 billion. Impala Platinum shares closed at $21.20 yesterday.
