Facebook Reports Q4 Earnings Beat, Active Users Up 11% To 1.84B

Facebook FB reported quarterly earnings of $3.88 per share on Wednesday, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $3.22 by 20.5%. This is a 51.56% increase over earnings of $2.56 per share from the same period last year.

The company reported quarterly sales of $28.07 billion, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $26.43 billion by 6.21%. This is a 33.16% increase over sales of $21.08 billion in the same period last year.

Facebook sees fiscal year 2021 total expenses at $68-$73 billion.

The company reported fourth-quarter daily active users were up 11% year over year to 1.84 billion.

Facebook shares were trading down 3.62% at $271.84 in the after-hours session. The stock has a 52-week high of $304.67 and a 52-week low of $137.10.
