In a surprising turn of events, the full specifications of the much-anticipated OnePlus Open foldable phone have been leaked a day before its planned launch.
What Happened: The OnePlus Open will debut in India and globally on Oct 19. The leak uncovers that the device will feature a 7.82-inch 2K resolution flexi-fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The cover display will be a 6.31-inch AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Yogesh Brar, a known tipster, shared the device’s full specs. According to him, the OnePlus One will be powered by Qualcomm Inc.’s QCOM Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. This will be paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The phone will operate on OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13. The foldable device will also feature triple rear cameras, including a 48MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 64MP telephoto sensor.
OnePlus Open’s design was already leaked earlier, revealing a large circular camera module on the back.

The OnePlus Open will have a 20MP selfie camera on the interior and a 32MP sensor on the cover display. It will be powered by a 4805mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging and an IPX4 rating. Wi-Fi 7 or 6E based on region, Bluetooth v5.3, NFC, GPS, and a USB-C port for charging are also included.
The smartphone is expected to be available in two colors: Emerald Dusk and Voyager Black.
