Here Are The New Incoming Features On Elon Musk's X, And Mark Zuckerberg's Threads: Check Them Out

Elon Musk’s Twitter, now rebranded as “X,” has made it easier to download videos from the platform, while Threads has rolled out two new updates.

What Happened: Earlier this month, Musk’s X took a cue from TikTok and enabled users, albeit only the paid subscribers, to download videos from the platform.

Users had to first search the “…” three dots- icon on the upper right corner of the video player and then tap on the download option.

As per Musk’s promise, the platform has made it more convenient for users to download videos – they can now simply long press on the video and have options to choose from.

Meanwhile, in the realm of Mark Zuckerberg’s Threads, two intriguing updates are making waves. The first is the introduction of a “Reposts” tab on user profiles, creating a centralized space for users to revisit threads they have reposted.

The second update addresses user feedback by adding reposts to the “Following Feed.”

Why It’s Important: Earlier in January, Musk’s social media platform received major backlash after Twitter, now rebranded as X, replaced the “Home” and “Latest” tabs with “For You” and “Following.”

At the time, netizens compared the microblogging site with the “S**t Version Of TikTok,” however, since the algorithm of the “For You” timelines has been appreciated by many.
