Arizona Republican Who Backed Trump In 2020 Now Funds PAC Against Him — And Supports 'Man Of Action' DeSantis

It is the case of an ally turned adversary, as a former Arizona state senate hopeful, who once sided with former President Donald Trump, has turned against him.

What Happened: Jim Lamon, who unsuccessfully contested the Arizona senate primary race in August 2022 is the sole donor for the “Actions Speak Louder Than Tweets’ political action committee, report said, citing an expert report.

Rob Pyers, research director for the non-partisan California Target Book, who was referred to as the expert tweeted confirming tweeted regarding the same on Wednesday.

Pyers shared the PAC’s filing with the Federal Election Commission that it has received $24,000 in contributions over a three-month period.

Why It’s Important: Lamon incidentally was part of fake electors who signed papers falsely declaring Trump had won the state in 2020.

The “Actions Speak Louder Than Tweets” PAC’s website now shows that it supports Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the Republic presidential primary.

Calling the governor “a man of action,” it lists among its goals taking the lead in fighting the Trump-Fauci lockdowns, standing up to the Disney and the Woke culture, and expanding and restoring Floridians’ gun rights
