Benzinga Names Fanatics A 'Challenger' Award Recipient At Inaugural Titans Sports Betting Event

A leading fantasy sports and sports betting company has been honored with the "Challenger" award from Benzinga at the first Titans Sports Betting conference.

What's A Challenger?: The Challenger Award is reserved for innovators and upstarts disrupting the industry of sports betting. A jury evaluated key criteria including innovation, execution, financial performance and compliance.

The Decision: Fanatics, a leader in sports gear manufacturing, is gearing up to launch its sports betting operation. Fanatics Sportsbook is in beta for select users in Ohio,and Tennessee.

CEO Michael Rubin expects the sportsbook to launch in 15–20 states by the 2023 NFL season.

Fanatics Commerce is the world's largest manufacturer and provider of licensed sports merchandise. The same innovation and differentiation the company applied to the antiquated licensed apparel industry are now being optimized across the entire sports ecosystem, including physical and digital trading cards and collectibles, sports betting and iGaming.

The Jacksonville, Florida-based company also ventured into the NFT and iGaming spaces, alongside traditional e-commerce enterprise.
