VEON Names Artashes Davtyan As Beeline Uzbekistan CEO

VEON Ltd (NASDAQ: VEON) announced Artashes Davtyan’s appointment as CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan, effective 15 March 2021.
Davtyan is an FMCG industry veteran and most recently served as Head of Private Label in Yandex NV’s (NASDAQ: YNDX) digital retail delivery business, Yandex Lavka.
Davtyan succeeds Sergey Afonin, whose departure details were not disclosed.
Price action: VEON shares are down 0.57% at $1.74 in the pre-market session on the last check Monday.
