- Garmin Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRMN) has received European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval for its GI 275 electronic flight instrument.
- The approval enables installing the GI 275 electronic flight instrument in over 1,000 single-engine and multi-engine aircraft models.
- The GI 275 variants accomplish business and general aviation aircraft needs by serving as an effective alternative for various legacy primary flight instruments in the cockpit.
- “With this approval, the modern GI 275 electronic flight instrument gives pilots the opportunity to take an economical and scalable approach to their avionics upgrade while realizing tremendous potential with the extraordinary capability of the versatile touchscreen GI 275,” said Garmin VP Carl Wolf.
- Last week Garmin received the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval for the GFC 600 digital autopilot in hand-picked Beechcraft King Air C90 aircraft and E90 aircraft.
