Rockwell Collins Near Deal Buy B/E Aerospace for $62/Share

Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) is said to be in advanced talks to acquire B/E Aerospace (NASDAQ: BEAV) for $62 per share in cash and stock, according to sources as reported by the Wall Street Journal on Saturday. A deal could be announced on Sunday.

Keith Meister's Corvex Management reported a new 2.7 million share stake in B/E Aerospace in a 13F filing in August.

B/E Aerospace closed at $50.61 on Friday, down $0.04.
