Tuesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 112,000 head versus a year ago at 114,000 head. Live cattle futures traded range bound on Tuesday. October Live Cattle was trading at 148.07, down 0.02 and December Live Cattle was trading at 149.67, up 0.27.
