  • Jae-hong Kim, the business lead of Lambda256, also introduced APTOS as the latest blockchain network to join Luniverse.

In a significant move for the blockchain community, Lambda256, the blockchain technology subsidiary of South Korean fintech leader Dunamu, has unveiled a strategic partnership with APTOS.

The announcement was made at the "Rising Web3 in Seoul" event, a side event of Korean Blockchain Week.

Jae-hong Kim, the business lead of Lambda256, showcased a revolutionary feature for the Luniverse platform, the public chain extension named "Luniverse NOVA."

This wasn't the only revelation.

Kim also introduced APTOS as the latest blockchain network to join Luniverse, with integration set for the latter part of this year.

Lambda256's integration of APTOS into Luniverse is not just a technical feat. It's a commitment to fostering the growth of both Korean and global Web3 services. The focus will be on offering node services, technical education and robust community support.

Luniverse is no stranger to growth. Known for its user-friendly blockchain infrastructure, it has been welcoming EVM-based network nodes like Ethereum Polygon, and Arbitrum since the year's start. However, APTOS's integration is special. It's Luniverse's first foray into Non-EVM based chains.

Speaking exclusively with Benzinga, Kim said, "Until now, Luniverse has primarily supported mainnets in the EVM family, including Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism. However, we are excited to announce that we are now integrating with APTOS, which is a non-EVM network.”

“Indeed, it's worth noting that there are relatively few node services that currently support APTOS. This integration and partnership with APTOS positions Luniverse as a valuable player in supporting and strengthening the APTOS network within the blockchain ecosystem,” he added.

Talking about the partnership, Kim said, “Through this partnership with APTOS, we aim to support APTOS in expanding its presence in the Korean market and drive Luniverse's global expansion efforts."

Established in March 2019, Lambda256 is the blockchain powerhouse behind Dunamu (Upbit). It is also the brains behind Luniverse, a cloud-based blockchain and Web3 development platform.

Luniverse is shaping the future of blockchain commercialization and fostering a dynamic ecosystem. Its offerings range from asset tokenization and NFTs for brands to node/API services for public chains. Lambda256's portfolio also includes the NFT design studio "CYPHRLY" and the travel rule solution "VerifyVASP."

Luniverse offers a seamless development environment, complete with APIs and operational tools. Whether you're a developer or a business, Luniverse simplifies your entry into the Web3 space and the application of blockchain tech.
