The upcoming Peru Blockchain Conference 2023 (#PBCONF23) is set to become a pivotal event for the growth of the crypto community across Latin America.
Taking place in Lima's Auditorio NOS PUCP on April 28 and 29, the conference aims to build on the success of its predecessor, the Lima Crypto Capital Conference 2022.
As the most important tech event in Peru and the Andean region, it will address a wide range of topics, including blockchain, Web3, crypto, DeFi, regulation, artificial intelligence and more.
After witnessing a strong turnout at the Lima Crypto Capital Conference 2022, event organizers Kristopher Panana and Mauricio Ramos (Osito Lima) are now determined to make an even bigger impact.
The 2023 conference is designed to engage more people and further propel the Web3 ecosystem throughout Latin America. This ambitious event is made possible by Factum Investments, a financial services holding company boasting more than 25 years of experience and offices in Miami and Latin America.
The timing for such an event is ideal, as interest in cryptocurrencies has surged in Peru. According to the Triple A Blockchain Latam Report 2022, 1.2 million Peruvians (3.7% of the population) own cryptocurrencies. Furthermore, a report by Buenbit indicates that 60% of Peru's banked population has shown interest in purchasing cryptocurrencies.
The Peru Blockchain Conference 2023 will serve as a platform for collaboration and knowledge-sharing among Web3 companies, investors, banks, governments, enthusiasts, academics and entrepreneurs. With more than 1,000 in-person attendees expected, alongside more than 10,000 virtual attendees and over 50 live speakers from around the globe, the event promises to deliver a wealth of insights and perspectives.
