The Cannabis Hall of Fame has named Tony Schor as its new chairman, succeeding Vincent Norment, who recently passed away. This significant change in leadership follows the unexpected death of the Hall's founder and chairman emeritus, Vincent Norment. The Cannabis Hall of Fame, established in 2018 and initially known as the Marijuana Hall of Fame, celebrates the cannabis industry's diverse facets, represented by its seven foundational pillars.

Schor, also the owner of Investor Awareness, Inc., brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to the role. His expertise in strategic advisory across several key markets positions him well to elevate the Cannabis Hall of Fame to new heights. His appointment is not the only change: Debra Allen and Randy Miles, both original co-founders and advisory board members have been named directors, bolstering the leadership team.

In a statement, Schor expressed his enthusiasm for the role, emphasizing his commitment to realizing Norment's vision for the Hall of Fame. He plans to assemble a world-class team to raise awareness and secure partners for this unique exhibit.

The choice to collaborate with Cannabition for the exhibit was influenced by its exceptional management team and the involvement of Emmy Award-winning creative director David Korins. The collaboration aims to create an immersive experience that educates and entertains, highlighting cannabis culture's history and impact. The exhibit is designed to be inclusive and provide engaging, interactive visuals for visitors.

Schor reflected on the bittersweet nature of his new role, acknowledging the deep impact Norment had on the cannabis community. He expressed a commitment to honor Norment's legacy, announcing that Norment would be posthumously inducted into the Cannabis Hall of Fame and honored with a yearly “Person of the Year Award” named after him.
