The excitement of the upcoming NFL season is palpable, and as teams prepare to take the field for their preseason matches, speculations are rife about which team will lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Predicting the Super Bowl champion is always a tricky endeavor, with unforeseen injuries, last-minute trades and breakout stars always having the potential to shift the odds. Yet, based on team performances from the last season, offseason acquisitions and current team chemistry, there are some preseason favorites tipped to make a deep playoff run, if not secure the championship.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Kansas City Chiefs have the best odds of winning the Super Bowl at +600. They’re followed by the Philadelphia Eagles (+650), Buffalo Bills (+900), San Francisco 49ers (+1000), Cincinnati Bengals (+1100) and Dallas Cowboys (+1400).

On Feb. 12, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 38-35. With both teams returning the majority of their core players, oddsmakers have pegged them as the favorites to win the American Football Conference (AFC) and National Football Conference (NFC), respectively.

Super Bowl Betting Odds For The Rest

You never know what an NFL season will bring, and this year is sure to be more of the same. While the preseason favorites are believed to have the best chance of reaching the big game, every team starts with the same record. Every team has high hopes.

Here are the betting odds for the teams not noted above:

  • New York Jets (+1600)
  • Baltimore Ravens (+1800)

In NFL futures betting, the extended duration of the wager can lead to substantial returns, though it naturally comes with heightened risk.

However, when approached with caution, these bets can enhance the thrill of the game — every game. It's sort of like being an unofficial team analyst or de facto super fan, where you're engrossed in tracking team progress, player statistics, injuries and more.

For example, selecting an underdog to defeat the previous year's conference champion in the coming months lets you become one with the team's journey. This extended wager establishes a deeper connection with your chosen team, transcending beyond a mere one-off game bet.

While futures betting undeniably has its uncertainties, given the variables that can shift across weeks, it presents a unique chance to both forecast and passionately support your chosen squad.

Remember: The preseason favorites to win the Super Bowl can quickly change once the season begins. All it takes is one hot streak, cold streak or injury to a star player to shake up the market. So, if there’s a team above that piques your interest, now may be the time to lock in the odds.
