Sphere Entertainment Co SPHR is best known for its iconic one-of-a-kind Las Vegas entertainment venue that has hosted the likes of U2, Phish, The Eagles and will soon host Dead & Company.
The venue has a pipeline of artists set to host concerts soon and could be adding one of the biggest global superstars according to a new report.
What Happened: In a potential "Sign of the Times," the Las Vegas Sphere could be looking to get a younger audience into its iconic venue after hosting older bands, the NHL Draft, a UFC event and CES events.
Former One Direction member and global superstar Harry Styles is reportedly nearing a deal for a 35-date residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, as reported by the New York Post.
Styles could be added to the venue's pipeline of upcoming events for the second half of 2025 according to the report.
James Dolan, who is tied to Sphere Entertainment and Madison Square Garden, previously hosted Styles for 15 sold-out shows at the iconic New York venue. Dolan later raised a banner honoring Styles to the rafter, a move typically reserved to honor athletes.
Styles is also managed by Jeffrey Azoff, a name that is familiar to Dolan. Azoff's father Irving Azoff has a long relationship with Dolan, which includes helping secure the residencies of U2, the Eagles and Dead & Co. at the Las Vegas Sphere.
Sphere Entertainment and Full Stop Management, which represents Styles, did not confirm the report to the New York Post.
News of Styles joining the Las Vegas Sphere comes after talks between the venue and superstar Beyoncé broke down last year.

Why It's Important: Since opening, the Las Vegas Sphere has been one of the most talked about global entertainment venues.
After booking several initial bands, the venue continues to add to its pipeline which includes the upcoming shows from Dead & Company, Kenny Chesney and The Backstreet Boys. Chesney is set for 18 shows in May and June with The Backstreet Boys doing 18 shows in July and August.
The new booking of The Backstreet Boys could bring a younger crowd to the venue, with Styles the potential to bring an even larger young audience.
Styles is currently not on tour and there are also reports that he has been working on a fourth studio album. In 2022 and 2023, Styles' "Love on Tour" grossed $617.3 million as the fifth-highest grossing tour of all-time according to Boardroom.
The presence of the younger singer could provide a potential revenue boost for Sphere Entertainment and also lead to booking more artists who are extremely popular now and not on tours during the later parts of their careers.
Sphere Entertainment recently announced second-quarter revenue with Sphere revenue of $169.0 million, up 1.2% and MSG Networks revenue of $139.3 million down 7.1% on a year-over-year basis.
The regional sports network continues to weigh on the financial results of the company and the share price.
Along with concerts, Sphere also gets revenue from advertisements on the outside of the venue and from movies like "Postcard from Earth."
SPHR Price Action: Sphere stock trades at $35.31 versus a 52-week trading range of $32.10 to $51.83. Sphere stock is down 15% year-to-date in 2025 and down 30% over the last year.
