Mark Cuban: Investing in and inspiring innovation.

Since the founding of MicroSolutions in 1990, Mark has been a tech visionary with a penchant for using emerging platforms to address needs. The founding of Broadcast.com in 1995 and its sale to Yahoo! made an early mark in content streaming decades ahead of its time. As the owner of the Houston Mavericks, Mark has shown a combination of business savvy and showmanship. This public profile culminated in his co-hosting the popular TV show “Shark Tank” which continues to inspire and platform entrepreneurs fundraising for the next big idea to this day.

Though not directly involved in founding Web3 projects, Mark has used his platform to advocate for security and decentralization through blockchain. He invested in Aave AAVE/USD and Polygon MATIC/USD and showed a cross-over audience of traditional finance and fintech followers that crypto is not merely about creating new currencies but rather building “decentralized, secure, networked platforms with features that allow for the development of apps that can have unique utility for individuals and businesses.”

Mark’s perspective on investing in tech would make him an invaluable addition to the December Benzinga events.

Benzinga will give a platform and voice to some of the most extraordinary individuals in the space at this December’s Future of Crypto and Fintech Awards events. Tickets are still available.
