Cryptocurrency custodian company BitGo Holdings Inc. is aiming for a valuation of nearly $2 billion for its upcoming initial public offering.

Another Crypto Company On Wall Street?

The California-headquartered company and its existing shareholders will offer a combined total of roughly 11.8 million Class A shares, with each share priced between $15 and $17, per a Monday filing with the SEC.

Additionally, the company intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,770,000 shares of Class A common stock.

On the completion of the offering, the company will have 115,559,776 shares outstanding, including 8,855,382 shares of Class B common stock. At an assumed price of $17, this company would be worth $1.96 billion.

BitGo has applied to list its shares on the NYSE under the ticker symbol “BTGO.” Goldman Sachs Group Inc. NYSE: GS) serves as the lead underwriter for the IPO.

BitGo Follows Circle, Bullish

BitGo provides regulated custody for digital assets, including Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC), and claims to manage over $100 billion in assets under custody. 

Known for its multi-signature wallets, BitGo also offers recovery solutions to clients who have lost access to their private keys or backup passcodes.

Cryptocurrency behemoth Galaxy Digital Inc. (NASDAQ:GLXY) expressed interest in acquiring BitGo in 2021 but terminated the deal later, leading to legal flashpoints between the two entities.

A slew of cryptocurrency native companies debuted on Wall Street last year, including stablecoin issuer Circle Internet Group Inc. (NYSE:CRCL) and cryptocurrency exchange Bullish (NYSE:BLSH), buoyed by a more favorable regulatory stance from the Trump administration.

However, the stocks suffered from waning investor sentiment amid broader market sell-offs in the last quarter of 2025. CRCL and BLSH are down 22.51% and 44.38%, respectively, since their debuts.
