Vodafone Group PLC (NASDAQ:
VOD) posted a profit in the six months to Sept. 30.
Vodafone swung to a profit of GBP17.95 billion, versus a year-ago loss of GBP1.98 billion. Its operating profit declined 8.3% to GBP5.71 billion, beating analysts' estimates of GBP5.57 billion.
Its revenue rose 1.2% to GBP22.03 billion, versus estimates of GBP21.8 billion.
Vodafone shares gained 1.24% to $36.74 in after-hours trading.
