Insurance Australia Posts Surge In Annual Profit

Insurance Australia Group

reported a strong rise in its annual profit. IAG's net profit for the year climbed to 776 million Australian dollars (US$700 million), from A$207 million, in the year-ago period. IAG also declared a final dividend of 25 Australian cents per share.
