LED Waves' LED AR111 is a retrofit, plug and play replacement for these low voltage bulbs. Its “push and turn” screw terminal is compatible with G53 based ceiling fixtures, as well as low volt modular light pieces and LED track lighting.

Issues with halogen AR111s include high operating temperatures, which not only shortens the lifespan of the lamp (typical 2,000 hours), but also makes them difficult to replace.
