Origin Energy Ltd (OTC:
OGFGY) reported a rise in its net profit for the year to June 30.
Origin Energy's net profit for the period climbed to 980 million Australian dollars (US$1.03 billion), versus A$187 million, in the year-ago period.
Its underlying profit came in at A$893 million, versus analysts' estimates of A$887 million.
