Return to Operations

FIRST QUARTER RESULTS

Tour Revenues

Natural Habitat revenues of $11.7 million decreased $1.9 million, or 14%, compared to the first quarter a year ago primarily as a result of disrupted, cancelled and rescheduled departures due to COVID-19.

Net Income

Adjusted EBITDA

Natural Habitat Adjusted EBITDA of $0.5 million decreased $0.6 million versus the first quarter a year ago primarily due to the lower revenue as a result of COVID-19, partially offset by lower operating costs related to fewer departures and a decline in marketing spend.

Liquidity

Following the quarter, the Company drew down an additional $30.5 million under our second export credit agreement in conjunction with our third installment payment on the National Geographic Resolution.  The loan bears interest at a floating interest rate equal to three-month LIBOR plus a margin of 3.00% per annum.

LINDBLAD FLEET ACTIVITIES

The Company is also currently building a sister ship to the National Geographic Endurance, the National Geographic Resolution, which is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2021.
