Caesars Entertainment Corp was incorporated on November 2, 1989 in state of Delaware. The Company along with its subsidiaries is engaged in providing casino-entertainment and hospitality services. The Company has entertainment facilities in areas throughout the United States. The Company's facilities include gaming offerings, food and beverage outlets, hotel and convention space, and non-gaming entertainment options. The Company also operates an online gaming business that provides social and mobile offerings as well as real money games in certain jurisdictions. The Company's operating segment includes Caesars Entertainment Operating Company, Caesars Entertainment Resort Properties, Caesars Growth Partners Casino Properties and Developments, and Caesars Interactive Entertainment. The Company's business operation includes Casino Entertainment Operations, Food and Beverage Operations, Rooms and Hotel Operations, Casino Management Operations, and Other Business Operations. The Casino Entertainment Operations includes slot machines and table games, as well as other games such as keno, poker, and race and sports books. It opened and redeveloped three casino properties including The Cromwell, Horseshoe Baltimore, and The LINQ Hotel & Casino. The Food and Beverage Operations includes approximately over 180 buffets, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and lounges located throughout its casinos, as well as banquets and room service. Its properties include several dining options, ranging from upscale dining experiences to moderately-priced restaurants and buffets. It opened a number of new food and beverage offerings, including Gordon Ramsay Steak, Giada, and Drai's. The Rooms and Hotel Operations include hotel stays at one of its casino properties and approximately over 39,000 guest rooms and suites. The Casino Management Operations includes management of nine casinos and CGP LLC for its six casinos. The Other Business Operations include retail and entertainment options within its casino facilities; The LINQ promenade, including the High Roller; social and mobile gaming offerings and WSOP from CIE; and third-party leasing. The Company through its entities owns & operates and manages approximately 49 casinos in 14 U.S. states and 5 countries, of the 49 casinos, 37 were in the United States and consist of land-based and riverboat or dockside casinos, and its 12 international casinos were land-based casinos, which are located in England. The Company competes directly with other casino facilities operating in the immediate and surrounding market areas, while in others, including Atlantic City, it faces additional competition from nearby markets. The Company's business is subject to various foreign, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, in addition to gaming regulations.
