Burberry Q3 Comparable Sales Rise 8%

) reported an 8% gain in its comparable sales for the third quarter. Analysts were expecting a 7% rise in comparable sales. Retail sales in the quarter climbed 14% to GBP604 million ($939.3 million). However, retail sales surged 15% on an underlying basis. Burberry shares fell 0.92% to close at $49.75 yesterday.
