HTC Q2 Net Profit Down 58%

Taiwan-based HTC Corp

reported a 58% decline in its unaudited second-quarter net profit. HTC's quarterly unaudited profit fell to $7.40 billion New Taiwan dollars ($247 million), versus NT$17.52 billion, in the year-ago period. Its revenue declined 27% to NT$91.0 billion from NT$124.40 billion.
