Tepco Posts Narrower Fiscal-Year Loss

Tokyo Electric Power Co (OTC:

) reported a group net loss for the year ended March. Tepco posted a net loss of Y781.64 billion, versus a year-ago loss of Y1.247 trillion. Its operating balance swung to a loss of Y272.51 billion, versus a year-ago profit of Y399.6 billion. Tepco's revenue dropped to Y5.349 billion, from Y5.368 trillion. For the current fiscal year, Tepco projects a group net loss of Y100 billion, an operating loss of Y235 billion and revenue of Y6.025 trillion.
