Adani Green Energy reported its Q2 results at market close on Tuesday.
What Happened: Adani Green Energy saw its net profit decline by 25% year on year to ₹276 crore in the September quarter. The Adani Group company’s revenue on the other hand went up 37% to ₹3,055 crore. Its EBITDA went up 20% to ₹4,518 crore.
In the previous year, the company’s net profit and revenue was at ₹372 crore and ₹2,220 crore respectively.

The company’s renewable generational capacity reached 11,184 megawatts in the quarter compared to 8,316 megawatts in the previous year. Out of this capacity, 66% is solar energy with wind making 15% and the rest 19% made up of Hybrid resources.
The company’s energy sales increased by 20% year on year to 14,128 million units in first half of FY25.
In September, Adani Green Energy along with Adani Power signed a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to supply 6.6 gigawatts of solar and thermal power.
Price Action: Shares of Adani Green Energy fell 1.57% to ₹1,684 on Tuesday.
