Trump Surrenders In Atlanta, Has Mug Shot Taken

Former President Donald Trump voluntarily surrendered to authorities at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday as he faces his fourth indictment on charges stemming from he and allies' efforts to reverse the state's 2020 election results

Trump was booked on 13 felony charges as part of the wide-ranging criminal case. The former president had his mug shot taken, according to The New York Times' Maggie Haberman.

Trump is the first former U.S. president to face criminal charges. Trump is 6 foot 3 inches tall and 215 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde or strawberry hair, according to his Fulton County jail record. 

On Thursday, CNN journalist Don Lemon shared Trump's official mug shot on X, formerly Twitter. The ex-president looked stern in the picture and did not smile.
 


On Wednesday, 10 of the 18 co-conspirators arrived at the jail to be booked and get their own mug shots, including Kenneth Cheseboro, John Eastman, Jenna Ellis, Harrison Floyd, Rudy Giuliani, Scott Hall, Cathy Latham, Sidney Powell, David Shafer and Ray Smith. On Thursday. morning, Mark Meadows turned himself in.

Ahead of his arrival, Trump replaced his Georgia attorney Drew Findling with Atlanta-based Steven Sadow, who, according to CNN, filed paperwork Thursday morning to represent Trump.

In recent days, Trump expressed false claims of election fraud through his social media platform, where he referred to the election as "rigged & stolen," dismissing its legitimacy, CNN reported.

Following discussions between Trump's legal team and the Fulton County district attorney's office on Monday, an agreement was reached: Trump consented to a $200,000 bond and further release conditions.

These conditions include restrictions on using social media or engaging in communication to target his 18 co-defendants as well as witnesses and the 30 individuals implicated in the alleged conspiracy but not formally charged.
