Want To Work On ChatGPT With OpenAI Co-Founder Sam Altman? 'Send Evidence Of Exceptional Ability'

OpenAI co-founder and CEO Sam Altman took to Twitter to ask for applications from people who are "good at doing impossible things."

What Happened: On Wednesday, Altman shared this unique form of application with his 1.3 million followers on the microblogging site.

He said that chatGPT, OpenAI's AI-powered chatbot that has ignited an AI battle among big tech companies, has an "ambitious roadmap" but is "bottlenecked by engineering."

He then asked netizens to send some "evidence of exceptional ability" in case they are "good at doing impossible things."

Why It's Important: Altman's OpenAI is leading the charge of one of the hottest topics of 2023 — AI. OpenAI's chatGPT — which has taken the internet by storm — was released in November for testing.

In February, chatGPT signed up its 100 millionth user — a milestone it reached in just 64 days.

The technology is being used by experts, netizens and celebrities alike — Ryan Reynolds used it to create a commercial.

Last month, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates praised chatGPT by calling it as significant as the invention of the internet
