• The University of Michigan's consumer sentiment index for November is scheduled for release at 10:00 a.m. ET. Analysts expect consumer sentiment rising to 72.3 in November from October's level of 71.7.
• The Labor Department's JOLTS report for September will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. Job openings are not likely to extend their surge, with analysts expecting September reading at 10.100 million, down from 10.439 million in August.
• Federal Reserve Bank of New York President John Williams is set to speak at 12:10 p.m. ET.
• The Baker Hughes North American rig count report for the latest week is scheduled for release at 1:00 p.m. ET.
