Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq:
AGYS), a leading provider of innovative information
technology and hospitality software solutions, today announced the general
availability of the latest version of the Lodging Management System® (LMS)
property management solution. LMS v7.2 can be viewed at HITEC 2013 in
Minneapolis, June 24-27.
LMS is a comprehensive property management solution that leverages web
services to deliver maximum flexibility and ease of use. Recognized as the
hospitality industry's most powerful and highly available property management
system, the solution automates every aspect of hotel operations — from
reservations and credit card processing to accounting and housekeeping. Its
versatile foundation easily expands to incorporate modules for activities
scheduling, attraction ticketing, food and beverage sales, online
reservations, remote check in, spa scheduling and more. LMS also interfaces
guest player accounts to the hotel booking engine for evaluating comp
decisions.
The latest version of LMS builds on the success of the market-leading property
management system, with enhancements based on customer recommendations as well
as industry demands. A more streamlined approach to cashiering gives system
administrators flexibility and peace of mind. Interface alert monitor
capabilities offer real-time notification of interface errors so that problems
can be resolved quickly and efficiently. And iPad® mobile digital devices
provide a flexible check-in/check-out solution that enables properties to
offer more dynamic guest service.
Other LMS v7.2 enhancements include:
* Ability to view Agilysys InfoGenesis™ POS checks posted to LMS via the
InfoGenesis XML interface
* New folio transfer options
* Ability to attach bill codes to LMS meal plans
* Additional guest search options
* Passport scanning capability
* Enhanced accounts receivable functionality
* New reporting features
* Compliance with the MasterCard^®/Discover^® partial authorization mandate
In addition, LMS v7.2 has a number of guest-oriented enhancements within the
LMS ResNet online booking module. These include suggestive selling
functionality, multiple room booking capabilities, web check-in improvements,
a web check-out component and additional special request functionality.
