Versar, Inc. Awarded $2.8 Million Project

Versar, Inc.

announced it was awarded a project to design and construct upgrades to a wastewater pump station for the City of Petersburg, Virginia. The contract, valued at $2.8 million, is expected to be completed by October of 2011. Versar teamed with the Timmons Group of Richmond to win this best value competitive project. Versar, as the prime design/build contractor, will be responsible for all permitting, project management and construction execution for the pump station.
